I never forget the standard Super 10..in which I learnt driving ,when I was 12 yrs..it was my life's first exposure towards a car . from 1969 to 1988 we had it..❤it till today

Back in those days, (certainly in Kent anyway) lots of farmers and land owners used old WW2 bomb craters and chalk pits to fill with the old rusty cars and farm implements and then plough them over. We used to play in them during the school holidays.

Unfortunately not I’m afraid, they were popular while still young but just abandoned to rot away after only a very few years. (Most British manufacturers thought that “rust proofing “ would be counter- productive in those days).

Based on ehat I know of british sports cars of that time period beats a VW Beetle or a Porsche 356 hands down.
