I forgot to mention that Zangief is wearing a magical tank top in the close-up scene when he's dancing with Gorby in the SNES port. I always found it odd that Zangief wears a tank top in his portrait picture, but nowhere else.

I have this original japanese version and I managed to do this ending using Blanka and a controller with a rapid fire function. Wow, I hadn't noticed Eliza in World Warrior... 👍

Capcom fixed a lot of the... odd graphical choices from the arcade in Champion Edition. Did they fix it in the SNES port of Turbo?

Yes they did! Turbo on SNES was very faithful graphically, considering the memory limitations.
