Cute new way to make a Flip Flop Journal! I made a Flip Flop Journal for my Gratitude Journal this year. It's different than yours, but it was so fun to create and embellish it. I filled it with 31 thanksgiving and praise scriptures...one each day!

I was wondering how you would be able to read the songs. I had no idea that they were just background pages. I'm really new to junk journaling, or any paper crafts. I'm the same age as your mother, and my thinking isn't into the junk part but, more structured & usable. Your mother has done scrapbooking and junk journals for many years so she gets it. I haven't the concept of junk, not not neat and orderly in my brain yet. It's only been a little over a year since I started. I really do like the journal that you made. Maybe there is hope for me yet. 😊

I've actually been paper crafting more years than my mom. I actually got her into scrapbooking many, many, many years ago and we scrapped together for lots of years. She just started her KZbin channel before I did mine. 🙂

So sorry for your loss. 💜 I would think any junk journal would work for what you are needing as long as the pages are wide enough to hold the pictures. I would add a pic to one page and write about it on the page adjacent.
