This is way BETTER than the flow hive. Can you show me how its done. I mean them cassettes things. Never seen those type of serving tray. At least not in my country. Could you give details of those type of trays like producer n brand name. I'll buy them online.

Your hive boxes. Did you design them yourselves or did you buy them? If so where did you buy as I would love to buy some and do this. We need to increase our bee population a bit more over here so it would be great to do this as I live in the UK and would love to try this. That looks amazing.

Richard Taylor was alive, well and aware of the Hogg Halfcomb but he was completely invested in Ross Rounds. Both he and Tom Ross tried to minimize John Hoggs invention. Of course I feel like it was their loss. Richard Taylor got me producing comb honey. I love his writings in bee culture and I have always looked up to him.

Full cassette weighs 12 oz net, I also sell 10 oz comb if the honey flow quits and the bees cap them over a little too soon.

Do you set a queen excluder just below the Hogg hive ? Can you put more then 1 Hogg system on one hive ? Thank you from western canada. Cochrane Alberta

I do not use a queen excluder to make Hogg halfcomb on rare occasion a cassette or two may get pollen or brood in it but seldom. Depending how good your honey flow is you will need a second or third super. Where I live I generally only get one super finished because the honey flow is short.

@@hermandanenhower6102 thank you for the heads up. We have a short but powerful flow. One 3 hive can get around 280 - 300 lbs per . Its incredible. If I remember I will send you the numbers at the end of the season.

@@GoneWildKennels How many hives do you have, how many cassettes are you trying to produce? My honey flow coincides with the swarm season, I have to do a split to prevent swarming. I have this method posted on youtube you may want to watch Danenhower Split.

@@hermandanenhower6102 most people here in the uk use British national size hives. Would you be able to produce them to those specifications? In the uk there is Abelo, Thornes, Simon the Beekeeper and Gwenyn Gruffdd. These are all well established suppliers of many things bee related. I have a langstroth hive myself, would you ship to the uk as a one off purchase?

I dont know the name for it, but they use an grid that doesn´t allow the queen to get to this area. She stays in the broodchamber and lays eggs.
