What is really unique about the Enyaq is the very low customer support on the level of software updates on the car. I have one. The car drives very well. Unfortunately I had a few things already in need of fixing during the first year (heat pump broke down, power inlet door broke down, arm wrest was replaced) and a few fixes through recall (software to prevent lights melting, brake upgrade etc). All was taken care of within warranty, so far ok, but my previous cars were all Toyota and never had anything broken except the radio. But as said, the driving part, from a hardware perspective is really good. The software (3.0) is buggy, slow, user unfriendly and very limited. If Skoda would regularly fix and improve and provide a new update to its existing customers that would be kind of acceptable, but they don't provide existing customers with new software, so you are stuck with old buggy and slow software. Just to be warned.

Absolutely true. And unfortunately I believe customer support & software updates won't improve any time soon.. however, to be 100% fair, most of the software bugs have been solved in the newest software 4.0, including battery pre-heating! I bought an Enyaq 2024 one month ago and I am soooo satisfied! Even if I get no more updates, it would still be a good solid software for many years from now. So, things are looking much better for people who decide to buy a new Enyaq from 2024 on..

Well Toyota Bz4x is so bad that barely anyone want it so would not praise Toyota much. SW 3.7 works well, preheating is missing but i haven't even used DC charging so doesn't bother me.

Did you know, that you can put the plug for the fast charger (not sure, if that's the right word - the thing that covers the additional socket with the two holes) into the lid? You don't have to lay it over the lid or let it hang.

Oh yeah I know, think I even did that in the video

Hello, im not sure if you can answer this but im from UK. Do you know if the enyaq coupe sportplus 85 has the same ambient lighting on the door cards?
@Stantaa8 ай бұрын
As long as it's optioned out with ambient lighting (or it's standard? I don't remember from the top of my head) the door cards should be the same or very similar for both the coupe and normal body style.

9:05 Cup holders are rather small. I wish they were a bit larger. Many cups / bottles do not fit. Maybe the Skoda interior designer only drinks from espresso cups. The bottle holder in the doors are good.

9:00 you can change the info of the (driver) cockpit display with buttons on the steering wheel.

The Enyaq is not an SUV, the ride height is too low for that. It is a kombi.
@Stantaa8 ай бұрын
I agree that the ride height is low for an suv, but so are many other modern suvs. Compared to the Octavia and Superb wagons, the Enyaq is way too bloated to be called a wagon. Skoda calls it an suv as well.
@Foersom_8 ай бұрын
It is a crossover. Some people call that a SUV. It is higher than a classic combi / estate / wagon / stationcar because of the full floor battery makes it taller.

That's a really informative video.. Is this lounge or eco suite?

It's the "Suite Soul" interior

@@Stantaa thanks for your quick response.. Unfortunately I don't see it in UK.. Here I see lounge, suite and eco suite
@Stantaa8 ай бұрын
@anandreddy23 Huh, I checked out the configurator on the UK website and it looks like it is in fact called "Suite" over there. Probably a case of regional difference. Anyways, that's the one the car had. Pretty interesting how different the UK site is though - from what I've very quickly glanced over, you don't have nearly as much trims available as we do over here, and the trims themselves are also named differently.

@@Stantaa that's really helpful.. Thank you so much for taking time to verify and respond. One last w, sorry to pester you, enyaq iv80 or Kia Ev6 or Bmw ix1.. What would be your choice considering all base variants?
@Stantaa8 ай бұрын
Glad to have helped. I never drove or been in the Kia, so can't really say much about it. I was driven in the bmw x1 - the ix1's sister and that's the closest experience I had to an ix1. Again, unfortunately can't say a lot about it because of that, except the fact that the x1/ix1 is not as spacious on the inside - that's for sure. The enyaq is the only one I "fully experienced" and because of that I'd probably be a bit biased towards it if I were to give a solid answer, since I did like it. I genuinely think your best bet would be to go and test drive all 3 cars yourself, check out the interiors, the quality, and then decide.
