In this video I am showing unique style of applying textures for a acrylic gold leaf painting using minimum use of colors |Abstract acrylic goldleaf painting | demo | yellow | black |gold

Materials and Colors used:
Yellow
Black
Gold
Naples yellow
Texture paint
Canvas board
Gold leaf sheets
1.I used wet cotton cloth to spread the colors evenly on the canvas. (dipping wet cloth into the acrylic paint)
2. Applied paints one after another without waiting first coat paint to dry
3. It's a demonstration of abstract art you can choose your own colors to make unique art😊

Do you use anything to seal the gold leafing after it’s dry? Do you seal your painting after you are finished?

No. I don't seal goldleaf. I keep it as it is...use some branded gold leaf from monalisa brand. It will last long and shiny

No. I don't wait for paint to dry. I use acrylic paints it will dry fast. Also u get blend of colors if you apply paint directly on wet paints Thank you Have a great day ❤️

whats the first base you applied? I mean did you apply texture directly on to the store bought canvas?

Yes. It's primed canvas sheet roll that I bought from Amazon.. And the canvas boards are handmade.and I directly applied texture on it. 😊I uploaded a video of handmade canvas boards too. U can check them 👍🏻 Thank you so much for your interest in this art😍.

I am a bit confused over the tutorials. Do you wait until the glue is dried then apply the Goldleafs or when they wet?

@@artebrigade it all okey, beautiful appload. Just another question if I'm not bothering you: Dried glue causes the leafs to stick. Noted. Dried acrylic is the same? What if I have a whole painted acrylic painting and want to do the goldleaf lastly but on a certain area? Let's say a certain shape? Painting tape is the only way?

If you have already painted canvas and u want to apply gold leaves in certain area then apply glue only on the area u wish to apply gold leaves. If you apply glue everywhere on the painting , the gold leaf will stick everywhere. In my video I applied glue only some places to stick gold leaf.

Hey what do you use to create texture? Is it gesso?

Hi dear. It's not gesso. But it gets gesso effect texture. It's home-made texture using plaster of Paris and fevicol glue with little water. Thank you 😊
