Lol, right on, Im 46, and I remember when SOTS came out, that cd went in the player and didnt come out for literally over 2 years, fo reals.... Obviously, this is the type of cd that you just put in and press play and just let it run, but Dead Man Walking, became my favorite song.... We would listen to that cd on repeat from sun up to sun down. At the time it was more like a movie than music to us.

Brotha Lynch is one of my favorite rappers of all time. Season of the Siccness was the first album I heard from Lynch in 95 and I still bump it in 2023. Classic in my top 5 albums all time . Shout Lynch been a fan ever since. Grrrr!!!

I’ve known Lynch for over 20 years. Was a fan in the 90s and we became acquaintances back then. It’s so funny how randoms that hear his songs think he’s so scary and I would always say to them, he’s the most humble and nicest people you will ever meet. If you’re his friend, he’ll give you the shirt off his back. This interview, this is the BLH I have been privileged to know for over 20 years. Just a genuine, talented, good dude.

My best friend in high school gave me his Season album because it was too out there for him. I was hooked as soon as I listened to it. Especially Rest In Piss. I used to go on his website (or Black Market's website, can't remember) and you could post your raps. One of the mods on there, Elemental, reached out to me cuz he liked my shit. I was in Tacoma, Washington though, and still in high school so nothing came from it. I always wish i would have just said fuck it and found a way to connect with Lynch. He been puttin out fire for so long, I wish he got more shine than he does. He's a dope ass lyricist

I went into the Air Force in 1994, while in Texas, in Tech School, a woman that I was going through training with handed me three bootleg tapes. She was telling me she was from the Bay and she was in Hammer's Pumps and Bump video. One of the tapes was Brotha Lynch Hung - 24 Deep. I gave it a listen... Walkin' To My Funeral became one of my favorite songs. So macabre over a euphoric beat.

I was about 16-years-old when I got my hands on the Season tape, and I was high when I listened to it. Hearing that Q Ball interlude, with the sprinklers, the school yard whistle, then going into Liquor Sicc, I for real that Lynch was gonna go shoot up some shit, and to this day, believe at that time, he probably really would have.

We got to kick with him in Portland in 94 or 95 he did a show with IMP and MC Pooh. We had a whole floor at the Holiday Inn and kicked it room to room shootin dice, freestylin, poppin it with the females. Lynch was a real humble down to earth dude.
