Friday Night Funkin' is one of the most anticipated Indie Games of all time, and coming off of a successful kickstarter, many have wondered if we're ever going to get the game. The new update JUST Dropped featuring "Week 8" which was titled Week End 1, along with new Erect Remixes. I think it’s kinda easy to forget that FNF really is really cool. It kinda got swept up in what happens to things on the internet when they get really popular, but now that it’s had time to cool down, a return to the vanilla game is a great reminder of why it got popular in the first place.

EVERYONE GIVE FNF AN APOLOGY! this explains everything! they didnt just make 1 new week and call it a day, they had too completely revamp and rework the entire game and make this new style for the foreseeable future, they where working on crafting a specific style for the game, and while week 8 is the main selling point the other 7 weeks all got an incredible fix up! for week 9 onwards we can expect too see this style

Game development takes a long time they added all the erect remixes revamp the entire game and added a whole new week. I think it’s justified. They did say they were gonna go quiet for a while after the first couple of updates they still delivered their promise They Needed to re work the entire game to get rid of the mess in the code This isn’t the only update they’re working on. They probably have a bunch of others that are either almost completed or completed waiting to put out.

People wait for updates if they get a decent enough notice or have enough trust in the game dev; you can see this in the delta rune community. The problem is that fnf barely ever gets communication from the devs about progress in the game, while deltarune pretty much has seasonal communication updates

Most of these were made on different engines, so they aren't affected, as they aren't made for basegame.

Open the game through command prompt by going to your fnf directory and typing "start funkin.exe". The error won't appear anymore but please don't close command prompt. It will close the game along with it.

2:45 yeah the gray arrow graphics are cropped and shaped properly. In the old version, there was an artifact maybe 1 or 2 pixels wide of one of the other arrows next to it from the graphics not being cropped and separated properly on the opponent's side. These ones are all perfectly cropped from eachother! It's very subtle, but that little bit had always bugged me. Every little pixel in artifacting can make a huge difference in an artstyle this simple and I am so glad that it was fixed!

i'm pretty sure the "null object" crash is the loading screen between songs in story mode not working on the windows release for whatever reason; the crash will strike at random times and it's really annoying, but it works just fine on the newgrounds release

I'm not sure if it's a difficulty quirk or what, but there's meant to be a cutscene after 2hot (Darnell's 3rd song) I see plenty of people miss. Pico runs out of bullets on his Uzi, and Darnell runs out of fuel for his lighter, so in Blazin' they resort to fist fighting.
