It's not just because she's a teenager. Let's throw that reasoning out since she'll be 18 next year. It has nothing to do with her age. Knetz and other international fans are just not used to seeing someone confident like her who openly enjoys the spotlight. They want someone demure, who acts humble, calm, etc. Gehlee is naturally quirky and enjoys her moments genuinely and it rubbed people the wrong way but that's not her fault. A lot of girls today are just so insecure about themselves. Because how are there fans who love what she does and others who find flaws in her behavior? There is literally nothing wrong with her, just people who cannot accept and are not ready to accept that it's okay to love attention and to enjoy her moments when the cameras are on her.
