The first rigid synthetic boots that started coming out in the early 2000s were blister machines. Now I feel the synthetic upper materials have improved dramatically in pliability, softness and comfort. So I have not gotten any more blisters. Making sure my boots are 100% broken in has helped with not having blisters. Going in to a match with brand new boots is worse thing you can do if you want to avoid a blister.

This is so relevant since I’m healing from a nasty blister right now on my heel 😅 pred accuracy’s fit me amazing but switching to the new preds - bit more snug but it feels longer so my heel rubbed against the back pretty vigorously What i did to still be able to play with the nasty blister? bandaid + strapping tape, strap your entire heel over and under and over again with rigid strapping tape, when you’re playing in them, tying your boots as tightly as you can, tape tightens up as well, no movement of skin against boot 😃 great success 👍

Unisport! I hope this gets acknowledged by whoever runs the channel or in general anyone over there. I came from the 5 signs you can be a pro video and just have a quick question: If I can't afford/don't have proper footballing equipment like boots, shin pads, etc. will a football school/academy provide the equipment for me? Or would I have to first get the equipment before I can start training? This question is also open to anyone else if someone has answers.
@PigeonLoftsTN8 ай бұрын
They usually do but for a price, lots of academies are not free. If they are free, chances are they won't be providing any equipment besides mandatory uniforms or maybe some gear. I've never heard of academies providing shin guards or cleats just fyi.

I got a heel blister from the Mizuno Wave Cup Legend turf shoes today in my first attempt at getting thru a full game in them. I had backup boots in my bag, but I didn’t think the discomfort in my heel was a blister until it was too late. My no blister streak was well over two years. 😢

Pretty flat footed, and the store clerk that sold me my first football boots ( I havent owned any since I was a child.. like 20+ years ago) told me to get some boots that were about half a size or one size down, and then wear it to kind of form it around my foot. Played 2 hours straight yesterday and I have a big blister under my big toe on my striking foot.. None on my left tho. Should I get new shoes? I mean I just started again, bought the boots years ago but literally just started using them now. I'm 34 so money isn't rly the biggest issue, haha.
@didnthurt40774 ай бұрын
Same, i get blisters on the heel only with the striking foot. I will try the runners loop to tighten them more and the vaseline trick. The other foot is fine with no issues so i dont think i need new boots.

I got a blister with my nike mercurials superfly on my shooting foot heel only. The cleats fit fine and going half size smaller is going too be already too small. Have about 1cm room at the toes which is supposed to be fine. I will try the runners loop if that makes a difference. Otherwise i have a reason to buy the new merc 16 elite 😅

@@MrMyking2 True! The fabric does make a difference as it seems. I have a pair of Adidas f50s with fabric in the heel area whereas the Nike mercs have synthehics in the heel. What do I do to stop injuring my toe
@AdrenalineAddict256 ай бұрын
All of the tips are VERY important Be sure that the size of your boots are fit (neither too small nor too big). Use your boots ONLY during play and not before or after playing. Have a pair of slippers to wear whenever you're not playing. On the pitch: Make sure to place takles properly in order to not injure yourself and also shooting and passing technique should be standard (if not perfect) Training: Make your feet fit enough to be well balanced and steady enough to move smoothly and freely. To do that best exercises are: 1. High knee : Try to touch your chest with your knees and hands should move like you're running. 2. While running or jogging, Try to raise the non contact foot (the foot that is in the air) as high as possible to avoid your nails to hit the ground which hurts your toes. Also try to keep balance while dribbling. HOPE THIS HELPS👍🏻 if any doubt ask me I am ready to answer ❤

I very recently bought new football boots and before that I played barefoot on ground with no grass. And blisters were so common for me as I had 1 or 2 each month leaving only a week or two for playing. I couldn't afford new boots so I was hesitant to buy new ones. But luckily one good of my friend offered me a new pair of boots which were used in scanty amount. And that for only half the price! It helped a lot and increased my playtime by more than ever! The price of my stud is ₹600 (Indian currency) and I bought them from my friend for ₹330. Which model boots are yours mate? Mine are Sega Spectra (black) ⬛ 👟
