I just started watching your videos in February 3 2024. Thank you for not using the music in this video. Im impressed with the quality and ingenuity of your products. I like the way George of Humble Road does his floor. He puts square tubing across the floor so it has ventilation under it. But Im not sure if it matters compared to you way of doing it. Your version saves a lot of time. I have a fairly new metal store near my house that I need to check out.

I'm getting ready to get your wall kit. What is the distance of the unistrut from the corner (joint between the wall and ceiling)? I'm planning on adding soft cabinets that require 12" for the ceiling and 13.5 for the wall. Will your mounting positions work, or will I have to work out my own positions and add plusnuts?

Do you recommend blue Loctite for the hardware? Your videos are the best on KZbin!

For your wall locations Loctite would be fine. I would be apprehensive about adding it to the ceiling riv nuts as they can be temperamental if not set really well. Maybe a split lock washer would be a safer bet.

Do you find that the factory installed rivnuts are co-linear, or do they wander up and down and spacing varies?

A3300 - 1-1/4" x 3/4", 14 Gage Channel would be my guess

I can see the availability advantage compared to L-Track but what about accessories for hanging and securing things? How would I hang a D or O ring from unistrut?

I’ve used both bolt down d rings and screw in eye bolts. There’s lots of different hardware available too.

Which models of Transit are compatible? We are small and are considering medium or even low roof and shorter lengths for ease of parking/days when we need 2 cars.

Why do you mount the unistrut over the wall coverings instead of inset? It would clean up the install look and seems like it could save an inch or so of interior space if helped make cabinets more flush

The unistrut we use is 13/16 thick. The wall panels we use are 1/4. We don’t use framing under the walls (it’s unnecessary) so the only gain would be 1/4 of an inch. The increase in complexity I feel is unnecessary. But, the reason we offer DIY kits is that they can be customized any way you see fit.

Matt, approximately what height is the rear lower unistrut mounted from the van floor on center? Also what height for the rear upper unistrut on center?

Are you going to be offering cabinets? If so please make a smaller medium roof cabinet. Almost everything out there is designed for high roof and takes up way to much space!
