34:40 how is Mg smaller if it has more shells, is it bc of higher proton number?
@drhanaaassil-chemistryteac9433 Жыл бұрын
Mg2+ lost outer shell, more attraction between electrons and positive protons in the nucleus.

for the very last part is there any way possible to get a correct answer without endlessly doing trial and error?

Miss, in Q2, how come NaF has the highest melting temperature? Why it is not KCl because it has more number of electrons and so greater London forces??
@lahibchowdhury4534 Жыл бұрын
NaF and KCl is an ionic bond Na is smaller than K. F is more electronegative compared to Cl. So, ionic bond in NaF is stronger (The smaller the ion and the greater the charge of the ion, stronger the ionic bond)
