Very informative, but tell me how to add "et al." in IEEE Format, also tell me about the DOI or URL link.

You can edit the links if you choose to see all fields in the citation window. Word is usually pretty good at adding et. al, but if it doesn't the simplest way is to first generate your references then manually edit. Think of word as a starting point but for special cases it's not the best
