Unit Testing from Qt Creator

As someone who is just getting familiar with the Qt Test Framework, this video was absolutely invaluable. In short work you explained the whole process with modern Qt tools and now my testing is working great! THANK YOU for the CMake code at the end, especially! This is a really nice feature of Qt Creator!

How do we run same test which you describe in example on iOS or any OS who does not have console. Does Qt Creator give any way to run ?

Correction: only private slots run as tests, not all slots, so it does matter if slot is public or private

Hi! If you are asking how to put your tests in a sub-folder, then in your CMakeLists.txt file, add a line like this: add_subdirectory(tests) and in the tests subdirectory, you need a CMakeLists.txt file for your tests. Cheers Jesper.

I cannot see my test cases under QtTest on the Right Column Not sure what is the issue

I'm afraid I have no idea, except maybe the CMake or QMake project hasn't been parsed properly by Qt Creator. I would try and see if they can be executed correctly from the command line, and if not that would hopefully point to the culprit. Cheers Jesper.
