Unite or Divide?

Jesus gives us the highest calling today. Those who "do the will of God," are Jesus' mother and brothers and sisters, a family based upon faith.
What does all that mean? We are united in a new kingdom. We are a new family. The church is the earthly representation. This new family, the church, is perhaps as difficult as our earthly families at times. Not perfect but wonderful when it is working together in love.
The will of God is always our objective.
We listen to each other as family. In humility we love even with our differences.
Bottom line- our loyalty is to God. Our job is to love. Our duty is to proclaim God's way of life and living in this world.
While that may sound exclusive and controversial, it's simply this. Give your best to God and your neighbor. Imagine what would happen if everyone did this!
Through Jesus, family is redefined as the ultimate hope. We are God's family.
