United Airlines Boeing 767-300 landing into London Heathrow

United Airlines Boeing 767-300 landing into London Heathrow Airport. Seat 5A in Business First. N665UA. This flight was very open allowing an upgrade into Business. Video was shot 7-19-2016. Landing into Heathrow next day was 7-20-2016.

is it just me or did the spoilers take forever to be deployed

No Todd. Not just you. I noticed that, too. Seemed to be a bit in deploying. The next poster mentioned something I also noticed. Never seemed to deploy reverse thrust. Maybe he was light enough from the fuel burn off after such a long flight from Houston? From what I remember, I think the spoilers auto deploy when set to automatic mode off of a squat switch in the main landing gear. Well, whatever the reason, nice landing anyway.🤗

Definitely doesn't sound like it, and I can't see far back enough to tell if the cowling slid back. Interesting

Noticed that too. I didn't seem the flight crew use it. I suppose it's their discretion. Remembering from when I learned how to fly. Use the brakes if you need to. If don't need them, just coast along. Pretty cool. You'll roll to a slow speed.

they did not use thrust reverse because there approach speed was low

minor correction...it isn't exactly The United Terminal at LHR, it's actually Terminal 2, or Star Alliance @ Heathrow, however UA is the largest airline at LHR's T2
