It's probably not the same, especially considering that they use narrow body aircraft which has worse capabilities compared to wide body aircraft

Flew premium plus to Milan. Upgraded at the airport for $200. It was very comfortable

about to fly this coming week from Houston to Amsterdam coming from Mexico. If I want to upgrade it will cost me 380 USD. Not sure if I will do it, seems quite steep. And I already paid 1100 USD for economy.

Imo probably not worth it unless if you can go straight to business class. At least you get a better amenity kit and a lie flat seat. Food though, probably pretty bad.

Super disappointed in the United Lounge in HOU - a major hub for UAL. Paper plates, condiments you find at Taco Bell, the food display was what I would expect to see at the complimentary breakfast at a Best Western Motel. You wonder why you would want to build up loyalty miles to a premier status only to be treated like this???? We have enough miles left for a US-Europe R/T, so we're cashing them in and then flying with whatever airline has the best price and comfort. Too bad, we've been with UAL for 40 years.

Only for 4-5 hours, because you depart at 8pm and you arrive there at 750am. So still some sort of lag

Yeah, the breakfast wasn't great tbh. Very lackluster on their part. Their dinner was good though

@@seangannon1497 Yeah, it's United Club - the worst part is that United Gold members flying domestically don't even have access to that lounge, yet Star Alliance gold members travelling domestically can still access it.
