United By Music: a unique concert by pupils from Liverpool and Ukraine

Inspired by Eurovision 2023, we matched four primary schools in Liverpool with four partner schools in Ukraine, and teamed up with Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Culture Liverpool, and Resonate to help the schools perform a concert together.
The initiative was part of our United by Music project, powered by our Schools Connect programme that supports schools in the UK and worldwide to collaborate.
The pupils made new friends, got creative, and even wrote their own song! The unique concert featured 180 pupils, with more than 70,000 pupils from across the world watching them online.
