Love your video. I used to work for Cascade Airways in Idaho Falls in 1985. Brings back memories of the town I used to live in.

This approach comes in right over my house. I haven't been in an aircraft in almost 20 years. This was cool to see. Thank you for sharing.

Haha, i have a story for you: I had a nightmare flight to Idaho Falls. It wasn't Idaho Fall's fault, but more of Denver's and Tampa's. You see, i was flying out of TPA to Denver, and planning to catch a connecting flight to Idaho Falls from Denver. Our first flight got delayed until 4 in the after noon, so we had to switch our morning connection to Idaho Falls to a afternoon one. When we got to the runway at Tampa, the whole airport was "shut down" due to bad weather, which is understandable. Our flight at Denver also got delayed (luckily) but not as much as Tampa's 2/3 hour shut down. Finally, we departed from Tampa. Catching our connecting flight was going to be difficult, especially since Denver airport is huge. We were watching the pushback times for our 2nd flight constantly. But then, the time of pushback from Denver was BEFORE deboarding our 1st flight. Right before landing, we checked the times once more, and then saw that our Denver flight didnt pushback until 11:45 PM... it was 4/5 PM before landing at Denver and we thought the times online HAD to be incorrect. My family and I Bolted across Denver airport to our gate, and sure enough, the flight was delayed until 11:45 PM. Eventually, we boarded the flight and took off at around 12 AM. When we landed at around 2 in the morning, we went down to the baggage claim, but we didnt spot our bags. Most of the flight was made up of people connecting, and many of us didn't receive our bags. We all went to the check in desks and asked for all the help possible. Everyone was on the phone calling Denver and the airport they started at, but at around 3AM the majority of passengers missing bags tracked them, including us. Apparently, Denver didnt know which gate to put my family's bags at, since the gate for departure from Denver kept on changing, 2 days later, our bags arrived to our Hotel in Wyoming, since we drove from Idaho Falls to Wyoming after we tracked our bags... thanks for reading this huge paragraph haha- btw, i also flew on United Express

This is quite a story! Thank you for telling it. We came from Denver too on this flight. It was a connecting flight as well. We started at NY LGA.

@@FlightpioneerI would love to visit Idaho Falls in the daytime, since i have terrible memories of it at night. I think everyone on our flight was drowsy, tired, and in a bad mood. Since there was only 2 or 3 people at the airport when we landed (2AM) Some guy just shouted out "WHAT A WARM WELCOME IDAHO" or something like that 😂

Awesome video, but that doesn't look like a CRJ-700. The leading edge flaps and the winglets show that it's a CRJ-200. The -200 doesn't have leading edge flaps, while the CRJ-700 does. Again, awesome video, just something I noticed.

Of course, you're right, it was a -200. Thank you! :)
