These are the Twin Twisters water slides at Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States! The dueling speed slides consist of a 180-degree turn followed by an insanely tight helix and a super intense twist. Speaking of enclosed speed slides, these are the most intense ones we have ever tried in the US. Twin Twisters can compete with some of the most extreme slides in the world, such as Blizzard at Miramar. The slides are really smooth and do not hurt your back at all. The attraction is currently being repainted - the start tubs, the last few feet of the slides themselves and runout lanes have already received a new paint job. These slides are hidden gems and a must ride at Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe!

I’ve been on these before and I’ve seen worse I went to Myrtle Beach and I went to Myrtle waves water park and there’s these slides called the turbo twisters and if you go on the orange one it is so much worse

Emerald Pointe needs more love. And The Twin Twisters are a one of a kind slide to go on. It will certainly change your perception of waterslides for good.

went on this when I was 8. I remember thinking that it couldnt be that bad, I got thrown everywhere like a ragdoll and almost drowned in the water because I could barely get a breath.

These kinda look like Tasmanian Twisters at Raging Waves. And if you think this is the most extreme, you need to try Turbo Twisters at Myrtle Waves. That’s still the 2nd most extreme slide I’ve done behind Tyfoon at Tikibad.

Wow, these slides look really intense! I recently road Black Snake Summit at Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles and some of the g-forces that ride pulled where the most intense I’ve experienced on a water slide. Not even to mention that the slides are completely pitch black, crazy stuff.

The only slide I can think of which is more intense is Turbo Blitz. However, slip n fly slides such as the Royal Flush at BSR could be considered as more intense, as well. Those slides are very hard to compare.

Last summer, I nearly flipped over onto my face. A bruised hip surfaced. Later realized it had ripped my bathing suit a little bit. Gave it a second chance a few weeks later, and I hurt my toe. Still the worst part of riding these is really the stairs to the top. It’s A LOT of stairs.

This one! Tyfoon has long-lasting strong g-forces but this one features a sudden twist which is much more intense. Hard to compare though

I was just at Wet N Wild last month. My younger sister went down one of the twin twisters with our cousin in law going down at the same time. After the ride, they said it was extremely painful on their backs, did you guys have that experience?

No, not at all. I know this problem existed in the past but the slides got refurbished as far as I know. We rode the slides in May and the joints were perfectly smooth.
