Rog and Rory, You may be so wrapped up in your own cynicism that you don’t care to know this but Manchester United fans back ETH. In a recent Manchester Evening News poll, a rag that has been trying to get ETH sacked since the first day he walked onto the pitch, 77% of respondents want ETH to stay. We support our manager!

there was a bit more to united's tactics than soaking up the pressure and trying to get them on the counter. United purposely played very narrow in midfield, forcing city to play out wide which city were not set up to do which meant we could nullify all their attacks and then play it past their high line which although is similar to a counter attack is not quite the same. The game totaly changed in the second half when pep changed his tactics brought on subs to be able to play wide which is when it became a seige for united and then that is when we soaked up the pressure and tried to counter but when we got our 2 goals and other best chances including the offside goal was all in the first half where we outplayed city and ten hag's tactics won. as for the first goal being a fluke. it was lucky but it wasnt a fluke. we got ourselves into that situation and put the pressure on city to make the mistake

It was nice to see a soulless club like City lose out to United who, however you think of them, have at least an honest history. City are the anti football, and the sooner the Premier League grows a pair the better for the rest of us.
