@@simianLxS yeah dragapult ex is dragon type, meaning that you can't even counter it with type advantage and belt. This deck has literally no way to ever one shot a pult.

Maybe run a one-of the TEF Relicanth, could help make make better use of Kilowattrel? I also enjoy running Galarian Articuno V to help discard more Wings pieces without having to dump too much extra on a Research

United Wings has been my favourite deck since the cards came out. It's my go to on PTCGL and I've even been doing pretty well with it in live. Charizard is definitely a rough match up, but not impossible, as you saw.

This deck needed evolutions that have the attack “Migration Leader.” This attack does 50/60 damage for each Pokémon with attack United Wings on your bench.

Once the next set comes out you'll be able to run squawkabilly and carmine together to get a lot of cards in the discard pile turn 1, even going first

@@jerensteinbear I still don't like Squawkability here for the same reason LDF mentioned: having a 2-prizer with low HP in this deck is a huge liability

Cool to see a post rotation list for this. I made a list and was asking for suggestions and tips on the PTCGL subreddit but the general response was "just play moon/ancient box". I went hard into explorer's guidance and it is honestly great in this deck, I don't even run any engine pokemon.

To be fair this deck is different than ancient box cause you dont lose as badly to random iono/roxanne & bricky hands & you have a lightning attacker

It didnt lose much like kirlia is still available as a strong engine, the other discard stuff even earthern vessel could be counted as support and its just nice stuff. I wonder if kilowattrel would be good too

@simo503 the main issue is ancient box just does it better now. Each deck has an advantage over the other. Wings had the better typings but ancient box is much quicker to set up making it the better single prize deck that utilises the discard pile

You didn't even finish the 2nd match. You always play a match to conclusion; your opponent could misplay, whiff, etc. Sportsmanship, bro.

No you don’t. The opponent had a checkmate board even if LDF knocked out the iron hands they only needed one prize to win. If you want to waste your time by hoping for a misplay then so be it. Don’t call out someone else for ending a match cause they’re aware of a board state that is going nowhere. Good players also know when to concede.
