Gutted I wasn't on live.... I played against Phil Chisnall in the early 80's. He was playing for a team from Trafford Park, I can't remember the name. He stood out a mile with his talent even at that age. I still remember him shooting from about 30 yards, it came at me (goalkeeper) like a rocket and I dived and pushed it over the bar.

We've got to keep it real we are at the very beginning of Amorim's tenure yes we've had some good results but we've let that get to our heads for the last few managers . This time let's keep it real we are going to have losses . We can't be saying we're back this soon all's I want is steady growth as a team we've got to give him real time to rebuild us . We are all desperate for success again he needs at the very least 3 years to turn us around . With other managers we've gone crazy at the beginning and within a few months it's gone pear shaped and certain sections of the can base starts with there toxicity . Put it this way we've over hyped managers and then gone in on them after a few months so this time with Amorim let's temper our expectations for quick success and let's just take each incremental success as a sign we're heading in the wright direction instead of taking them as yeah we'll be challenging for titles next season . One big thing other managers didn't have over the last decade is sir jim putting the football first and making proper footballing decisions and if he backs Amorim properly then maybe 3 years from now we can say yeah looks like next season we can challenge just look at how long it took sir Alex to rebuild and achieve success that's the time we need to give Amorim .

Somebody tell me why City are trying to sign Gyokeres. He obviously won't want to be second fiddle to Haaland, and Haaland wouldn't want to be second fiddle to him.
