Yes thanks so much mighty men of God. Song is authentic and gets me moving. I had a bad crohn's flare the other night and went for a walk around 3 in the morning. Even in excruciating pain i found myself dancing in the street in between the waves of pain. Thank you for ministering not only to my spirit and soul but my body as well. No doubt. Normal people can worship. That point was made abundantly in the 70s. But the culture in this video is not going against the stream or standing for some principle. Those are some of the trendiest clothes out there, as hip as can be - the trendiest glasses, haircuts, caps, denim jackets. It is a celebration of the current culture (which also promotes not growing up till you’re 40). What would be real bravado would be dressing like an adult without the coolest trends, just relying on God, and see how that would fly. I think you may find yourself just as rejected and socially ostracized in this type of hip church culture as the original hippies were in baptist churches. No joke. I remember an article from a mainstream culture reporter who came to check out the hipster churches in a major metropolis and felt they couldn’t even measure up to the fashion coolness pressure. I enjoy the music though.
