@@Ebendejongh1 I don't. I think Kurt Lee has proven himself time and again against strong opposition and therefore cracks the nod for me. Edwil is really good but I think he is still a bit down the pecking order and I think his age will definitely count against him as well.

yes, he was. Laws say he may not advance within 5m of the scrum until the scrum is over and when the ball was lifted, he was barely 2 metres back. FYI the Stormers were also offside but the Lions' player advanced first.

the backs have to be back 5 metres from the back foot of the scrum. 12 has come forward within that before the ball is out of the scrum therefore offside.

He was almost level with that scrum and therefore clearly offside. As Shawnberry6110 said it doesn't matter what position you are playing or whether you are all the way over the other side of the field. If you have encroached with that 5 m space between then you are offside. don't comment if you do not understand the laws,
