Very helpful thank you. I was also having the issue where I would do the jupyter --version and it gave me an error. Using the python -m notebook worked and opened it in a browser. I had been trying to open some notebooks from a flashdrive in the browser and they would always open in VS code but this solved it. Thanks!

ipynb is the file type of jupyter, and for that double click open you must have visual studio code installed, it is a famous IDE
