Völvas were female sorceresses and prophetesses in Norse mythology who were said to have the power to foretell the future and perform magic. The name "völva" means "wand-wed". They were considered to be powerful and held a high status in Viking society, and were sometimes consulted by the king of the gods, Odin. ⚔️🕯️⚔️🙂👍
