Thanks a bunch for these reviews. For example, not having the colliders really informs us the problems we would be facing if we had gotten this. Thanks

Hi Neviah, thanks for watching and the comment. Yeh the colliders were a shock for me the first time I opened up one of their packs.
@tissuesstuff10163 жыл бұрын
I came from a Japanese tweet that said the recent Popeye game on Switch took assets from this pack and sold it at least $20 from the same developer who made Calculator. Just coming to see if that is true…

It would so super useful to see how to use these assets in practical use! For example to animate them and set up one as a player's let character etc!

Thanks Pedro. I really appreciate that. I enjoy them making them. I started as a rant against bad assets but all I seem to find these days are good quality stuff

Excellent review! Hopefully Synty Studios takes your comments/recommendations and adds those back faces, but SO MUCH more importantly, the colliders!

Thanks for Rob. Yep I know! I love their stuff but I need those colliders in my life.

Nice tour on this asset. I do like the style but I cannot fully imagine how an actual game scene with the given characters would look and feel like.

Hi Tobias, I would like to see how MTB Cerkno has got it looking in his game
@tobiasphilipp23447 жыл бұрын
True. I guess my concern is, that I for instance would not buy this pack because of the uncertainty of how it'd feel like to walk and talk in this rather particular style. Even though I agree with you on the great amount of details in the package. The devs would do good on adding something - if at least a short cinematic scene with characters in it.

Looks great... If only somebody made a scene collider optimizer, which adds and customizes colliders in a scene... Maybe I should hurry up and try to it quick :) Another great review! Thank you!

it really is amazing how good something can look even when it's not PBR, it's a very interesting style, "poly art" I guess? not really low poly because all of the detail is in geometry instead of textures but looks great nonetheless
@TheMessyCoder7 жыл бұрын
Yep but it is surprisingly hard to get the poly style to look good and interesting

The ships are beautiful, I'd love this pack. to get off topic... in ultimatesurvival... the inventory is seemingly dynamically populated and snapped to a grid/parent. I want to split up my inventory into static different sized rows... it's killing me. Can you help me hack Slot.cs? Granted I have only finished 2/3rds of your videos but it didn't seem like you were going to do that... but if you did which video?
@TheMessyCoder7 жыл бұрын
Hi Joseph, yep the ships are lovely. Regarding US you can change the UI elements to not auto layout however nearly all inventory systems use the same method. I have not tried doing hard coded rows myself.
@knifeyonline7 жыл бұрын
I figured it out.... the "slots" container that all the "Slot (Template)(Clones)"'s are in has a checkbox... "Grid Layout Group (Script)" that you just uncheck, then you can drag the inventory slots around... wherever. I think I just need to limit the max number of them now, as I think it was spawning new ones automatically when it needed more slots. it's 1am, I just woke up because rick&morty got to the end of the playlist and the silence woke me up. I'm sleepy, hope this isn't gibberish. night.
