doesn't work( I tried the same thing in my unity 2021 but the animation isn't starting update: if yours is working(like mine) try to setting Culling Mode(in your menu Animator) to "Always animate"

you have to create the animation backwards. first hide

I started with the menu hidden by positioning the PanelSliderMenu off of the screen. Then in the Animator, set the Slider speed to -1 and HideSlider speed to 1.
