Unity3d AR Foundation - Extending the AR Object Selection With Text Mesh Pro Overlays

Today I like to invite you to checkout a new scene I created in my GitHub repo github.com/dilmerv/UnityARFou... where I provide you with an example for object selection with overlays. This example shows you how to easily add TextMeshPro for your AR projects to have a crisp 3D font displayed in your AR experiences.
Also this GitHub repo contains dozens of examples and I will keep adding a lot more as I get more and more time to work in my KZbin videos. Hey, thanks for all the tutorials, a lot of helpful information! I wanted to ask about something slightly unrelated: How do you display what your phone is seeing next to your Xcode?

Great question ! When I started these videos I was mainly screen recording, but today you can use the AR Remote Editor which is available from the Unity asset store to run your AR experiences in Unity. There is also a new Unity AR Companion which can help with AR workflows. Best to you and good question.

Hi, could you help me with an issue. I create an ar project add all necessary ar objects, place just primitive cubes in scene, build apk and when I run it, the cubes are there but they keep moving unlike in ur video like the spheres are still. Could you please explain why that is happening?

Thanks for your comment, can you verify that you have an ARSession and also ARSessionOrigin in your scene? also what device are you using? thanks

@@dilmerv Yes I do have all the necessary ar components ARSessionOrigin, ARCamera and an ARSession. Im using unity 2019.4.17f1 and my device is Vivo x60 pro+ also have google ar services app installed . Thanks

I would suggest putting debug.log in places when it is doing a raycast to find out if it is executing.
