The best sounding piano in software that I have heard. But why it has so specific system requirements? Need to buy specific Apollo audio cards, specific type of SSD, etc etc wow why?

Requirement to use their hardware is no longer! I didn't see the specific SSD type requirement you mentioned but I'm getting excellent performance in Logic Pro - and (embarrassingly) the SSD housing my OS, Ravel, everything is connected to the computer via USB (SATA3-USB3 adapter); but using Logic's low-latency mode the responsiveness is excellent.

When I read your comment and noticed it was a year ago I thought to myself if I liked a software piano this much and couldn't run it but then it became possible i'd sure wanna know. The whole UAD plugin package is an incredible step up (im reffering now to the effects rather than instruments) just like people said, but for instance the Studer tape emulation, the API 2500 comp is miles ahead of the Waves V9 version of the API 2500 I've had for years... the minimoog is far better than Moog's own "Model D" iOS app....now with this piano I think this'll be my first (and only, for now) subcription to a plug-in suite ! $20/month with Roland gets u more instruments, but the UAD $20/month gets me more satisfying emulations which run bettter on my old 2012 iMac than the Rolands. Cheers
