Fam, I think the same thing when I see older wrestlers at these shows. Fr fr. I often wonder what goes through their minds when they come out to these small crowds. Like, are they thinking "I used to wrestle in sold out arenas and now I'm wrestling in barely full gyms and school basketball courts?" It's was to think about sometimes tbh, I feel bad for them. But the likelihood of them continuing to wrestle for any other reason than money, is slim to none.

@@RxPrince1 it's not really sad. I actually met Scott Steiner a few years back, helped him set up a sales table. He was actually having fun. People only get that perception because they don't know what it is like, or because they see people who are "old" as being sad for still living, and enjoying life. To me, THAT is the sad part. He likes to go around to do smaller shows. It's perfectly fine!

Yeah that’s insane . U would think with Scott Steiner there rather than 40 -50 fans there would be at least 100 even in a small venue . If Flair was there that gym would be full capacity. Which I’m guessing is around 300 people . I have a feeling this was either terrible marketing in local area or ticket prices too high…..Scott Steiner and only 30-40 people there (if that)……something is off

I remember looking forward to watching him on WCW. everybody wanted to see the Big Bad Booty Daddy and the Genetic Freak every monday night on Nitro. even after his time in WCW ended, and he went off to WWA ( World Wrestling All Star's),he still was a big free agent. I am a fan of Scott Steiner and always has been since he wrestled with his brother. I think he should follow his own advice he gave Ric Flair in the WCW days and that is retire and let the younger talent get a chance. In his prime he was a forced to be reckoned with but those days are long past.

So many mixed emotions watching a 61 year old legend fight in a local school gym. Does he do it for the $, holding on to the past, for love of the game? Either way, I love seeing the fans still giving him love and the kids excitement.
