From one ham to another , Love you videos and passion for electronics. Excellent little charger, though I do feel that a universal charger aimed at power tools should reach 26V thus covering the current 18V and up coming 24V tools. Selective CC up to 3Amps is spot on for current 18V tools and plenty app for the up coming 24V tools. just my 2 cents though on that note i bid you 73's

Any way to make one that has gpio for the control of wattage and voltage with the possibility of linking multiple of these units to get a higher wattage and or voltage on demand depending on voltage dip and the current draw through a shunt or from a trigger port? Thinking about ham radios I have and that while it would likely make a good psu for smaller units the larger of them would be over 30w at 12v when transmitting. But not during rx..so that the only time you have to boost is during tx reducing the amount of power and heat during rx
@nekotherion73174 жыл бұрын
Maybe add capacitor to output to help with voltage drop. Or a 12v battery. That way the unit can charge the battery off solar or 110 or 220, adds some wattage buffer too

Trimpots are rated for about 300 operations Max, if they are originals with datasheets! Read the data sheet of a real one, and guess the Chinese clone to be 10 times as bad.
