If you time traveled back to the year 1995 & told my 7 year old cousin that the Mine cart levels from the game, Donkey Kong Country that he was playing will become a full on thrill ride in a big budget theme park in the future, he wouldn’t believe you, but deep down would wish it to be a reality one day. Nintendo can be the new Harry Potter for universal where they can expand the universe for decades to come. Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, f Zero, Xenoblade, Bayonetta, Kirby, Starfox, Luigi's mansion... the possibilities for attractions are endless

Not to mention that mario/nintendo is really a global brand. As well as nintendo have 5 out of the 10 most sold consoles in history. And mario is relatively easier to understand with no prior knowledge than harry potter. Theres no deep story or messy timelines, you just really get immersed in a new world and thats it. @@sigma_azn you are right. The reason I included it is because Bayonetta 2 and 3 can only be played on the Nintendo Switch. Also Universal has already had attractions based on other videogames not Nintendo. For example seasonal attractions in Universal Japan based on Final fantasy 7 Remake, Monster Hunter, and Resident evil.

I think Nintendo will probably focus on their big 4 IPs first: Zelda, Mario, Splatoon and Animal Crossing (and also Pokemon of course but that's technically not entirely owned by Nintendo). Then we'll see how far they can go for what remains.
