Thank you for this awesome software, I just hacked a cheap Chinese RC toy car, it works at 27.145MHz, it uses very simple ASK (OOK) protocol. To go backward it sends 1111110111111011111101111110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110110 I'm using HackRF, it is so much fun, thank you.

This is an excellent piece of software....thank you for all of your hard work. I successfully captured and decoded the data from my wireless light switch. I was able to see the difference in data from the on vs off transmission...so cool! I love the ability to transmit data as well. Is there any way to adjust the Hackrf TX power more accurately? it doesn't seem to transmit at a very powerful level, I have to hold the antenna almost against the switch. Any suggestions?

Hey Chris, thanks a lot and cool, that you hacked that little light switch! I am currently working on enhancing the configuration of device parameters. Adjusting TX power for HackRF is already implemented in GIt Branch "enhance_device config". Feel free to checkout that branch and give me your feedback. Alternatively, you may wait some days till the HackRF features, which are part of a greater development cycle, go into master/next release. You can watch the status here: github.com/jopohl/urh/pull/187.

Current versions of URH now have this TX power issue fixed!

Awesome!! Yes the issue is indeed fixed, much better transmission range now! Thank you again!

How do you know what to edit in the Generator section? All of the HEX coding looks random to me in my project.
@RhinoStar06 жыл бұрын
Thank you, however I have a question. In the edit dialog, when you select "auto detect from original signal" it goes to 11.719K? this is presumably a 433.92MHZ carrier. why the discrepancy?
@dr.johannespohl85476 жыл бұрын
433.92 MHz is the passband frequency. In URH, however, you work with baseband signals, thats why we operate with far lower frequencies here.

how can i use hackRF to open and listen to the encryption radios like analog or digital ? DMR or P25 encryption ?? dose Universal Radio Hacker can do it and hack this kind of radios?? pleas I really need your help.....
@dr.johannespohl85476 жыл бұрын
You can use an external decoding to deal with encryption: github.com/jopohl/urh/wiki/Decodings

And that's one of many reasons why IOT is a bad idea. Because manufacturers just care about the products, not about security.
