Of all the hotels at Disney and Universal, Sapphire Falls is our go to favorite for all around quality, value, theming, service, and amenities. In general, we have always found the Lowe’s/Universal hotels to be better than the Disney hotels when we compare quality, amenities, and value. Lowe’s knows the hotel business.

We just came back from our second stay at Cabana Bay with a Volcano Bay view room and while we're both also huge Disney fans, Universal's competitive pricing is really, really making it hard for us to justify Disney hotel prices, just because you get so much more for your money at Universal.

I stayed at Surfside last winter and was blown away. Beautiful, clean, and best of all CHEAP! Since it was a ‘value’ resort, I stayed in the 1 bedroom, living room/kitchenette which had 3 queen sized beds. And it was only $160 a night. The only downside to that universal hotel was there was no hot tub! Huge pool, ginormous pool area that could fit like 15 hot tubs, but there was no hot tub.

We just got back from Florida. We stayed at the beach club at Disney and surfside at universal. Beach club was amazing but i couldnt believe how nice surf side was for the cost.

I'm staying at Sapphire falls in October and going to univeral studios park and HHN. I'm so glad you did this hotel, as I have public/crowds anxiety and social anxiety. You showing me what to expect, cuts the anxiety in half, and that is one of the many things I do to manage my anxiety. Lots of prep work, research, making lists and exposure therapy. Thank you so much Molly. I watch you and Jackie from Super Enthused. Both of you ladies have made my vacation in October possible. I wouldn't have been able to fathom it. Love your videos!!

I have stayed at Cabana Bay for a week and would cross the road to Sapphire Falls almost everyday to catch the boat to the parks. I like the theming of Cabana Bay better, price is better and as Molly said, if I would pay more, I would invest in Royal Pacific and enjoy express pass.

We've been looking into Sapphire Falls as a possible Resort for a future trip. They have a lot to offer, menus are great, rooms are nice and its walkable to the parks. A lot of win features. I always love your videos.

I love Sapphire Falls! Just stayed there in June and loved everything about it. The only thing I would say is that the shuttle bus only run to and from the hotel if it is raining. Your main source to getting to the parks is to either take the boat, or use the walkway. Learned that from a Team Member when I was there.

We never unpacked until we started cruising. On a cruise you really need to because space is limited. Now we always unpack.

We stayed at Sapphire Falls the first time we went to Universal and now whenever we talk about going back we can never decide if we want to stay at a different hotel or return to Sapphire Falls. We never got to try their sit down restaurant so I think Molly should come back for that!

Tip on the fuel rods (if they are still honoring it) if you bought it before they started charging you can ask to be “grandfathered” in and you’ll get a QR code through their app to continue to get free exchanges. I had my receipt via email saved so was easy to get

Sapphire Falls is the best place to staycation. Strong Water Tavern is AhMazing. The pineapple fritters at Amitista are the best breakfast 😋 pricewise, it is inline with Disney value, but overall definitely gives the deluxe hotels a run for the money.

I'm A Disney DVC since 2010 and always bought an annual pass for Disney World every year. Once my annual pass expires this year, I will getting an annual pass to Universal over Disney due to Disney's lack of experience and magic.

3 hours for Gringotts?!? Holy moly that is crazy. Definitely check for single rider on that one unless it is your first time. Single rider skips the queue theming which is awesome but is very quick wait.

I love this resort so much. I know RPR for not too much more gives you express passes but I wouldn't want a full holiday there. Prefer SF for the long haul and pay for an overnighter at RPR to get the 2 nights of express passes (and one night where someone in the group get to sleep with no one else snoring!)

I saw this and decided to cancel my Orlando airbnb and upgrade to staying at Sapphire Falls for the winter. It's way more expensive obviously but the perks/benefits just were too valuable to pass up for me! The 1-hour early access and water taxi alone go a long way for me.

The Home2 by Hilton Universal Partner Hotel is also sooooo sweet like cabana bay. But 90 a night. And no parking fee. And i still search the problem staying there 😅. After watching this i guess Universal is just super cool!!!

Disney needs to pay attention to what is happening around them before it's too late. These "value" resorts are cheaper than Disney's "value" resorts and they are significantly better quality. Universal noticed a gap in the market and they are really hitting hard.

Hagrids has a very complicated block system which creates all these downtimes running with ten trains. Imagine how long the line would be with twelve trains like Intamin originally advertised. 😂😂😂
