I had to watch with the sound down due to sleeping daycare kids so I'm not sure if you mentioned it, but did the ongoing construction at PB affect your trip at all? Did you find the resort less peaceful or enjoyable because of it? We are coming this weekend for our first visit and I'm kind of disappointed as I was looking forward to the beautiful, Italian themed buildings.

To be completely honest, we loved the hotel. The facilities were top notch and having Sal’s and Starbucks onsite were such game changers for us. But yes the ambience on the waterfront was impacted by the building works. However the pool areas were completely undisturbed. My tip would be is that when we were offered on check-in a room that had a frosted window due to the construction we kindly asked if there was another option. And the reception were great and upgraded us to a garden terrace room. And this room was so perfect, we had a fab little terrace, it was on the other side of the hotel from the noise and we were very close to the pools. So yeah as a whole the waterfront was a nosier with construction walls up so the building works were noticeable but on the other side of the hotel it was completely quiet and lovely. Hope that helps. Thanks, yeah we had a great time but felt a week of just universal would be too long. So two and a half days was perfect for us for a first time trip. But I think 1 day will be sufficient to get what you would like done. Hope you have an amazing trip!

Can you let us brits know what date this is please & what the temperature is out there?!

Hi! So we were here (in Universal) on the 8th & 9th of March 2024. The temp when we were there was lovely for us it was 25-30 degrees Celsius (which is 77f-86f) and sunny. No humidity, it was wonderful. For the whole trip we were there from the 2nd-15th March and the weather was lovely. Mornings starting off around 18c and days ranging between 22c-31c. Hope this helps.
