Universal Studios Great Britain - What TV/Film Properties Can We Expect?

What Tv or Film Properties would you like to see used as theming for the new Universal Studios Great Britain?

Another franchise i think would be a really good for this park would be a Transylvania themed land, Dracula is one of britain's most iconic novels as well as being one of the most successful characters in the Universal Monsters franchise and could translate really well into both a theme park land but also attractions

I did think about Dracula, but then if they do Dracula and only Dracula would it not just seem like a bit of a watered down version of the Universal Monsters Land at Epic Universe? Saying that I would be extremely happy if they did bring the full Universal Monsters Land to the UK

i mean in all honesty the "Universal Monsters" land is basically just a frankenstein land where pretty much the entire land is themed to frankenstein's village (with a small part being themed to the werewolf) so if they keep the same scale as epic universe's land, a highly immersive Transylvania land could be amazing.@@Judventures

I hope they invest in more coasters than screen based attractions. Epic Universe would be a great blueprint to go off. Good balance of coasters and experiences.

We’d definitely love plenty of coasters, but with the UK climate and Universals desire to operate all year round, we do see them leaning more towards Screen based attractions, dark rides and indoor coasters.

Harry Potter, Bond, Lord of the Rings and Paddington would all be fantastic choices. I'd also love to see the Cornetto trilogy have a presence, maybe a horror maze or the Winchester pub from Shaun of the Dead. Aardman would also work well, maybe a focus on the films they made with DreamWorks, that Universal owns?

Shaun of the dead? Really? The cornetto trilogy will be nowhere near this park and if it is it won’t be SOTT it will be hot fuzz. That’s the most well known. You can get the SOTT experience every weekend in the UK, just drive down a high street on a Friday/Saturday night😅

I agree, they are good IP's but I don't see Universal going 'too British' as they'll still want to attract plenty of International travellers.

Most of our decent IP's have been taken by Disney already; Winnie The Pooh, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Jungle Book. There's great scope however for Roald Dahl products and of course Doctor Who and James Bond. Can't wait for 'Euroversal Studios®' to open!

Very true Disney does hold some great IPs, although for me Lord Of The Rings is a must if aiming for a British IP, I think it's the only land that could rival Potter in terms of scale and grandure 👍🏻

It's a wild guess but i would want a Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids darkride with a moral story about cutting in lines at themeparks or a Arthur style bfg ride

Not a fan of Doctor Who and that IP seems to be struggling atm. Lord of the Rings would be amazing and Bond could work as a stand alone stunt show, it doesn't nees to be a whole area. Id love to see Jurrasic Park and Nintendo land. If they cant get Nintendo then go to Sega and do a sonic themed area.

I would have imagined the source material might be a bit too 'adult' for universal, also might be a bit too similar in style to the rumoured Lord Of The Rings area, but who knows 👍

Universal Studios Orlando has The Velociraptor ride . Universal Studios Great Britain should have a ride purely based on the Tyrannosaurus Rex
