I reserved my passholder preview for April 24th, the 18th was already filled up. I usually like to get Thursday for special events so I take Friday off to get a three day weekend. Personally, I don't remember seeing pink trams other than movies where the tour was featured or older videos. I remember going on the tram tour a year or two after the King Kong Encounter (animatronic) opened. The trams were blue or some shade of blue and that's the only color I remember ever seeing them. The Runaway Train was part of tour at the time, but I'm not sure about the Collapsing Bridge.

The only thing I'm underwhelmed with is I was hoping for a drone show for the 60th as well as better merchandise. They've been testing drones on and off for the last year and a half and I thought this is what it was for. I really wish they would release a book about the history of the park because I think it has one of the most fascinating histories and I would vintage merchandise like that.

Props for getting the camera placed for when everyone running in from rope drop. 🔥🔥. How cool. In the 80's, they would let us get off the tram for a moment to look at photo ops during the Bilingual Tour. This event reminds me of that time. I also thought that was the norm...I didnt realize it was just for the bilingual tour. The tram tour will always be my favorite ...great memories. That tram popcorn bucket is 🔥. Thanks brother. I actually would imagine if they bring back the old runaway train from the collapsing bridge and relocated to the old Fast and Furious Attraction by turning it into a railroad crossing as the train would pass by and the old Fast and Furious Attraction would turn into a Runaway Train Garage near between the picture cars and the jurassic park location. Would that be great for the 60th anniversary of the studio tour.

I think I've seen the photo-op shark was being billed as the "original" one. It's not - the original photo-op shark is hanging in the Academy Museum. Are there any signs of Runaway Train construction? Yes, the train on the Collapsing Bridge is the original. The original scene was just off of Denver Street and Six Points Texas, on the way to Jaws. Thanks for the update.

I believe the collapsing bridge was part of the old Kong? I have vague memories of going over that bridge after the Kong part and it “collapsing” with our tram on it.
