This was one of the best rides I've ever been on in my life. I felt like I was in the middle of the animated TV series from the 90's, and I loved that show and watched it religiously.

I kinda feel sorry for this ride. Transformers was based off this ride, yet it gets to be in almost every single Universal park (not Japan though) and Spider Man only gets to be in Orlando and Japan. But maybe the ride could've been longer too

⁠@@themaskreturnsagain1362It’s to do with rights issues. As part of the original contract, Universal can only have certain Marvel characters east of the Mississippi so putting another park section like Marvel Super Hero Island on the west of the river cannot be legally done. Hence why Orlando and not Hollywood can have the ride. As long as Universal continue to pay a yearly fee to Marvel (or Disney rather because they chose honour the original contract Marvel had made after buying it up.) refurbish and keep the rides in working order and do not tarnish the Marvel brand, they essentially have the rights in perpetuity, either until they break the contract or close the Marvel section permanently.

You know a ride is amazing when you actually feel as if you're falling 40 stories, even though you're elevation doesn't change an inch. Oh, and 5:37. Easily scariest part of the ride. I was literally taking off my glasses and cowering like a girl.

85 min wait? when i went in oct. you just walked up and got right on.i rode it like 6 or 7 times in a row.its awesome as hell.you could get on any ride you wanted when you wanted it was the most amazing thing. it was the best time ive ever had.

yeah, bertharbour, the line is pretty long, but THAT was a line i didn't really mind waiting in! the little maze that the line went through, looked like the office of the Daily Bugle! i thought it was cool! and that ride is AWESOMMEEEEE!! =]

Spider Man is actually at Islands of Adventure, which is one of the 2 parks at the Universal Orlando Resort; Universal Studios is the other park.

@Hieagandaus Your local comic shop would be a good place to start, I would personally recommend starting with getting the 1st 2 collections of Dan Slott's current run on Amazing Spider-MAn starting with #648 (Big Time) it's a really fun comic now.

IMPORTANT FACT: i really like rides that put you in the action like this and twister and disaster and mummy among others the only thing about it is that its more interesting when you listen to what there saying along with the ride i had to watch the ride on youtube just to get the funny and cool lines they said so it would make more sense, screaming is for coasters(mummy also exempt though form screaming)

I prefer the old one although the new/old refurb from 2012 had the most beautiful new visuals while this one looked like a ps2 Spider-Man game. But the old theme song was so fucking bad ass I wished they could’ve kept that and now the new one sounds boring.

IOA is part of Universal Orlando which has 2 parks. Spiderman is in IOA, not Universal Studios.

i KNEW that the part where hyrdoman says "your taking a dive" was placed in the ride later on, i always thought that and know this is proof. i wonder y they added that scene? actually ive always just wanted them to redo the cgi and a slightly different style since the technology is much better now, same ride and all but new cgi would just be awesome to kinda see a change. =]

Well after the refurbishment in 2012, they removed the leaked so they don’t hurt or injure the guests in the ride since the spark was too close so sadly they had to remove it but I agree with you cause it made the magic in the shocking scene.
