Truth has got to start looking at the damage reduction stat alongside the HP, sure Goku has 60M HP but he also only has 55% DR, which makes him a fish. That means he takes 50% extra damage compared to 70% DR. If they really want to make a tanky boss without giving them something ridiculous like 400M HP, they could give them 80% DR.

I really wish we could still get around 2 goku named characters(post sync) on vegetas team or get vegeta on a team with 2 characters with goku in the name so we could get those 6-8 stacks on vegeta super quickly just like we can do in global rn(more of we have to do than can do lol) Vegeta with 6 stacks is tanking gogeta blue for like 250k pre super(post transformation according to Halvards defense calcs for him)

I would say Vegeta is still better than Toppo. It’s just you can’t truly see his defensive capabilities in ssj because he nearly triples his start of turn def when the turn starts + 50% def per super

I agree 100%. It sucks that vegeta completely overshadowed toppo, and then eza teq gohan came out and overshadowed him again. Toppo just doesn’t get recognition bc he isn’t hype asf

@@somecoolwizard Toppo is better like 90% of the time than gohan? You realize with his intro up he eclipses gohans defense until like turn 5, where toppo transforms and shocker, again, ECLIPSES gohans defense by a vast amount then, cus of GoD mode. Gohan MIGHT do more damage, and even then its debatable on special pose, where base toppo can get upward of 22m in slot 3 on optimal special pose, and STR dyspo exists now.

@@blueapple6657 Toppo is definitely better than gohan at the beginning of the fight but gohan is just better than toppo on his 3rd turn. Special pose is an amazing team and toppo looks great on there but gohan has beast and his whole team. Gohan’s ability to stack so well just makes his stats better than toppo’s like 65% of the time.

@@somecoolwizard Thats literally not true? Toppo turn 1 and 2 outdoes gohans defense. You are heavily underselling toppo. He has like 1m+ defense with DR and guard after he is hit once in base(and his super.) Gohan turn 5 is like 1mil+ if he supers 2-3 times a turn. GoD toppo turn 5 destroys his defense by a large margin, and continues to do so until he gets hit enough.

I think the selling point of the 10th anniversary is the sync no way where getting ui goku toppo cell max anniversary lrs and wwdc lrs in the span of 3 months its just not happening anyone who suggests otherwise does not know the level of effort there willing to put into global dokkan but thanks god i got the extra box space for my second hand units

Toppo in base and transformed is so much better defensively than Vegeta it's comical, people only prefer Vegeta for his offensive prowess

Toppo on optimal special pose is absolutely bonkers. 22m atk stats in slot 3, tanks all supers in slot 1 cus of intro, etc. He also has dyspo now who gets 72%+ dodge on AVERAGE. He maxes at 94% dodge btw. Damage is fully handled by that dyspo pretty much, despite toppo not doing god-awful damage on special pose. GoD toppo routinely hits 16-18m atk stats on special pose with gcrit, and is infinitely stronger defensively than vegeta is(if you actually gave toppo dodge, and didnt transform him early where he didnt need it.)
