Hey kids, pro tip: If you're gonna play with reverb settings you should do it while monitoring the rest of the mix. Nothing like wasting time setting up the perfect guitar sound only to find out that it doesn't sit well in the mix.

When using as an aux/send, do you leave the "wet solo" on or off? I was thinking have the wet% at 100, then wet solo to be off, but I'm not quite sure how to optimize this with the UAD 480L.

Hi Ben. Question: Have the algorithms from the expansion carts been ported to the UAD 480L? I can't seem to find that info anyplace. Thanks :) That dry vocal lead clip is recorded beautifully, by the way! . Folks, the 224 & the 480L are on sale for $139 each til August 31st, 2021 - If you have compatible UA hardware, I feel that these two plugs are a no-brainer. At the least, snag the 480L. The base hardware units still sell for $4k USD and up, and this plug runs the same DSP code as far as I know... At this price you can have a 480L for less than the price of a used LXP-5, and that's no joke! Cheers 🥂
