The Scriptural Rosary centers attention on scriptural passages from the life of Jesus to reflect on while praying the Hail Mary.

Mary (1st c.) was a Galilean Jewish woman of Nazareth, the wife of Joseph, and the mother of Jesus, according to the canonical gospels. Mary has always been a central figure in Christianity right from that moment early in Luke's Gospel when Mary is told "Blessed are you amongst women".
