It’s worth mentioning that between 1965 and 1980 (except for 1976), a subtle violin version of this march was played during the coronation. In my opinion, it added incredible charm and elegance, and now, when you watch it, it also evokes a sense of vintage glamour. It’s a pity they abandoned it later (though the coronation itself was shorter, so it’s understandable).
