I loved this movie-the insights into that period of time, the searching for home and peace for Kidd and Johanna, the ACTING! All these warrant a 4th viewing soon; just marvelous.

I enjoyed this film and the performances of the two leads. And getting on in years myself, I could really feel the Captain's world-weariness as he had to climb that hillside during the shoot-out. I'm the same. If you make me climb something, I can do it, but I'd really rather not at this point. And if I do have to do it, I know how much I'll suffer for it in the days following. LOL, though, good film and I look forward to seeing more work from the young lady, Helena Zenger.

I very much enjoyed this movie. The acting is incredible. The only thing I could think to change is it often went from one brutal scene to another to another. I felt like I could use a little relief at times. Overall though I loved the film.
