Japa means to mutter a sound - slight audible with breath in and out...but you can start louder, go softer, and then go Antar muka (inward facing) silently inside in that sequence - 108 108 108 - while staring up at the 3rd eye or at a picture or statue of a Devi, Deva or Guru or downward towards your hridaya or heart center. Then go into silence in the Turiya state that emerges as you meditate on the inner sound of silence....bliss follows and she will come

Anahata is the 12-petalled lotus along the spinal cord that the Kundalini Shakti moves through on her journey upward. It opens you to Shreem or the out-breath and brings compassion and love in all you do. Hridaya is a center slightly below the heart that is activated by Hreem or the in-breath and contains the wish-fulfilling tree and brings Shakti in all your being so you live fully and well.

Brzee is a development of Pilai and has little traces in Shakti Bija teachings - in fact, none - however - there is a reference to it in some obscure Southern schools. Sauh is the power of Lajja Gauri, as Parvati is known in yoni puja. It is the energy of Ichcha or sexual desire. When transmuted into Soum it becomes Kundalini energy rising up the spine and is the Bija for Murugan or Kartik, the spear that opens the Sushumna passage....it is also the sounds of a serpent becoming straight to form a spear - meaning Sushumna fully opening.

Here I’m talking not from philosophical point of view, but mere practical one. For example, in Sri Vidya , there Bala, Panchadashakshari, Shodashi, Mahashodashi etc., and it’s considered, pls correct me if I’m wrong, that the a further one is more completed than a preceding one. All Mala Mantras (composites to different Devis and Devas) are composites of Bija sounds and create different alchemies for different outcomes. So think of it as a painter whose core starting color is white and then by adding many colors and brushstrokes a painting emerges - so it is with Mala and Aksharas and Stotra....As a Sri Vidya Upasaka and Kali Kula Practitioner myself, I understand that without an understanding of the power and meaning of Bijas then nothing will occur in Mala - no Rasa and no real power outcomes.
