Even Changsub recognise that rhythm performance vocal and dancing can steal his songs since he recognise team rhythm performance is better than his starting line team. Watch in Episode 5 what changsub says? It doesn't mean 1 team has 1 member with power vocals they deserve to win. I didn't mind that Groove won on the Prison Battle despite being drawn more with Rhythm's performance. Vocal wise, Groove did deserved it, case closed. What doesn't sit right with me was Rhythm's score. I really thought it was a close battle. The score could've been close to each other or have just a little gap. 295 over 101? That was the most unjust scoring I have ever seen in my many years of watching survival shows with that quality of performance. Rhythm could've still won overall even if they only gave them 150 (still low). But 101? soooooo unfair.... I don't care they lost or whatever. the score was insulting bro despite seeing Changsub lost his calm demeanor and members from other teams jumping cuz they were amazed. I mean come on ... Knetz could've done so much better.

What sets idols apart from typical singers is that they are mainly performers. Of course vocals are important but idols don't just sing and sell records. They perform (dance, sing and express different concepts) to have more impact than typical singers. And in this case clearly Rhythm had better performance and their vocals weren't bad either. And although we know Groove has better vocalist, their vocal performance during this round wasn't their best despite their choreos being way easier. And please even the mentors were obviously more impressed by their performance that Ten said he doesn't care about the result cuz they did so well while Chang-sub thought they'd lose to them.

I've been confused by the show system lately and I am losing my motivation to support it. I have biases across all the teams, Rythm, Groove and Beat as there are a lot of talented trainees I wanted to support in this show but the show's 'team-based' system and as the ep5 result came it is pushing me to focus my votes on just one team to protect my top pick. And I'm hating it. 😓 I'm not just alone in this position as I've been on different Gc's and everyone has the same thoughts on this. I don't know if it's just me but I see a racist coach(my bad if I'm wrong). Well I hope all my hunch are wrong and it's just me overthinking...but we'll see in the upcoming next episodes. But trust me if this continues they will lost viewers faster than they upload videos and shorts...

There is nothing wrong with thinking that Rhythm should win, but it is not nice to say that Groove only had abs and visuals. Especially when Park Han, Jaeho, Heejun and Kenta brought so many different vocal tones and techniques to the table. I definitely wouldn’t say that Changsub is racist. He literally loves Kenta (from Japan) picked Hanseo (from Taiwan) and wanted Sirin (from Thailand) even when he knew he had a yellow card and barely had any votes. Changsub picks talent, he doesn’t pick race.

⁠@@CallistoTheWarriorQueen I think I would have to disagree with Changsub picking Koreans as a strategy. I’m guessing you don’t really know Changsub very well. He is in BTOB and they were actually the idol group that took the longest time to rank first in the charts, but slowly gained fame by staying true to their talents. Knowing him, I knew right away that he would pick trainees who are: 1. very desperate and passionate (no matter how skilled they are since he can teach them) 2. have have a good vocal tone (where it can be developed into something greater) 3. someone who is talented enough to pull off the vibe and concept for he wants for his team. To add to Changsub’s teaching, if you watch Changsub’s episode on ‘I Live Alone’, he actually said that he learns a lot by teaching others. The other members in BTOB also said that he one of those people who are born to teach. And just so you know, for the this round, team Groove had 6 foreigners, whereas team Beat had 5 foreigners. I do understand how frustrating the voting is, I feel for rhythm too. But I would actually blame the producers for the unfair voting system rather than the team or director.

@@sukymin2491 team Beat literally had less foreigners than team Groove. I think that the voting was unfair, but I wouldn’t say it was about race. I would say that it was because UL producers let the audience vote before any of the episodes have aired. And that most of the audience are already fans of certain contestants.

This UL should have respect Global Opinion as well since this is not korean standard of winning. Imagine theres a lot of Global Fans know how to sing and dance and could recognise who deserve to win base on overall performance. Is like your asking me to love snake than puppy. LMAO. And be happy they choose snake to win because for them snake is better to be pet than puppy. LOL..They attracting Global Hate for unfair scoring and judging of live audiences. Its like Global fans wanted to ask Korea what is happening with your eyes and ears? Are you blind? Not because one member has one powerful vocals. They deserved the overall win and the other deserved that super low score. This is really unforgettable episode to me. LoL
