Ashesi is a very good university with modern training methodology allowing graduates to compete anywhere in the world. The only advice to you is to be ready financially since it's quite expensive as with all private universities. Also, since the training is world-class, be ready to study hard and read more. Decide which University or College you wish to attend, check their requirements in terms of subjects and grades and apply. Apart from B.Sc Nursing you can also choose to study Diploma in Nursing in most of the Nursing colleges in Ghana. Let Me know if you have any other questions.

Unfortunately not. You need to have studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Higher Mathematics to be admitted to study BSc. Nursing.

Apart from the University of Ghana, the others are yet to publish the closing dates for applications. The closing date might also be dependant on the course you choose. Once you start the application process the system might let you know. 2. Some of the Medical Schools might conduct an interview and short exams. These may happen way before the deadline so please do not wait. Apply as soon as possible. Most of the application portals are open. 3. I have added last year's deadlines (for those not showing the deadline for 2021) as a guide. Covid-19 pandemic messed the school calendar up. Therefore some of the deadlines might be early this year. Moreover, admissions for Medicine are very competitive so do not wait. 4. I also added the following: university's website, Application Portal (make sure you select International Applicant), last year's cut-off points, other courses related to the medical field since you might be asked to choose three courses in order of preference. I have highlighted the actual medicine courses in red since each university calls them differently. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Please accept my best wishes. Sir if I had credit pass in my 4 core subject (maths,English social and science) I had 3 credit pass in my electives but I had d7 in one elective can I get admission? It means i pass 7/8 of the subject

As a rule, most top public universities do not accept D7. Some private ones might, but might require you to resit that subject whilst you are in level 100.

Hi with Home Economics you could also do most of the degrees offered to general arts students in various universities. Please check the requirement and cut off point pages in the university's website. It will show you which SHS subjects you should have studied in order to be offered that degree course and what grade you need. In most cases, you need at least a science based elective, especially Biology to be allowed to do nursing. For example KNUST requires you to have studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics before they will allow you to study Nursing

The cut off point last year was 12. It might be a bit tight but you might be lucky if a lot of strong candidates don’t apply.

The universities look at your grades across six subjects. Some universities insist you study government but for most studying general arts should allow you to study political science. Focus on getting good grades. Political Science admission could be very competitive.

Hi Michael, the main one I am aware of is Bsc. Aerospace Engineering at KNUST which requires grade 9. However, there are several aviation colleges in Ghana which offer different courses in Aviation. The majority of them do not offer degree courses though.
