I think we should look at the AI literacy challenge has equipping students to collaborate with AI. By teaching students both human collaboration skills and AI collaboration skills, we prepare them for a future where they'll work not just with people but also alongside AI, amplifying both human creativity and machine efficiency. Collaboration requires a more technical, data-driven approach. Skills involve understanding how to leverage AI’s strengths, monitoring its limitations, and integrating it into broader workflows with human oversight and critical thinking. The skills needed to collaborate with humans are similar to those used when collaborating with AI tools.

Great points DurffLady and I totally agree. We really need to help students develop skills where they work well with both other people and different AI systems. They need to be able to switch between them effortlessly while realizing the importance of critical thinking and ethical considerations when dealing with either one. Thank you for your comments.
