What is different about Schäffer hall from Fall 2022 onwards is that it is mainly for upper-year students as the other four towers in Lister Centre: Mackenzie Hall, Kelsey Hall, Henday Hall and Chalifoux Hall are for first-year students. Even though first year students are still allowed to live in Schaffer but it may not be easy to make new friends in Schaffer when you are a first-year student as the people who are living around you will be elder than you and they may already be having good friends and may not be willing to make new friends.
